The company Proagricar SL, based in the industrial area of ​​Agua Salada and dedicated to handling and packaging of agricultural products for export, employs more than 30 people a few months ago in the town of Cehegín.
This morning the Mayor Jose Soria, and Councilman Business, Francisco in April, visited the facility, located in a ship of municipal property, and have been led by the manager of the company, Ramón Marín.
The manager explained that there are 24 people plus seven others performing other tasks in line to make the company.
From October until next June working in the winter campaign by packaging broccoli, and summer work with watermelons and melons, resting during the month of September.
The market of destination of these products is Europe, especially countries like Germany and Holland.
Ramón Marín thanked the City all facilities made for installation of the company.
Councilman Francisco Abril explained that the ship on which is installed the company built the City thanks to a grant from the Ministry of Industry.
The mayor added that in recent months in this polygon several ships have been built by private initiative, some of which are already operating.
He also recalled that in the industrial areas of dung and municipal property Almarjal ships available for installation companies remain.
Also, Francisco Abril has announced that soon the Business Incubator of the new building of El Coso opens.
Finally, the mayor has welcomed the employment generated by this new company and ensured that the City Council is trying to get ahead all projects that generate jobs and wealth in the town of Cehegín.
