Closing wounds', the Association of Families and Persons with Mental Illness Northwest (Afemnor), celebrates this week the World Mental Health Day which is celebrated on October 10.
The aim of the scheduled activities is "to raise awareness about the discrimination they suffer even people with mental health problems", as explained by the association.
The campaign this year and the theme chosen focus on the need for society to know the reality of people with mental disorders and their families as a way to banish the prejudices that still weigh on this group and involving one of his main obstacles every day.
