Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marín, has reported that today, Tuesday, May 20, is the last day to register for the first ever night marathon to be held in the Northwest Greenway on 7 June.
The circuit starts in Molina de Segura and will pass through the towns of Alguazas, Campos Rio Albudeite, Bullas, Mula and Cehegín finishing in Caravaca de la Cruz.
The test, which is limited to 1,000 participants to ensure appropriate security measures, have a length of 80 kilometers and the route will pass through Northwest Greenway, except for the start and finish.
Thus, visitors will pass through the towns of Molina de Segura (stroke onset), Caravaca de la Cruz (meta travel), Cehegín, Bullas, Mula, Campos del Río, Albudeite and Alguazas.
The competition is divided into six categories: Senior (18 to 34 years), Veterans A (35 to 39 years), B (40 to 44) and C (45 and over), team (up five) and in pairs.
In all these categories there are masculine and feminine modalities.
Participants can run, walk or ride.
In addition, due to the specifications of the terrain (flat and accessible) is suitable for people with disabilities or wheelchair adapted vehicles that can use.
The test will have 17 points of supplies as well as a cloakroom, and a regular bus service to participants return to the starting point.
During the tour will involve more than 300 volunteers.
