In a new initiative of the Department of Education and through the Anti-Truancy Program, was held a day of 'coaching' for teachers Cehegín to have attended a total of 21 teachers.
During the day acted as rapporteur psychologist Ana Peinado, MA in Management Systems and Research in Applied Psychology, a PhD in Emotional Intelligence and Optimism and collaborator of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Murcia in several research projects on Emotional Intelligence and Positive Psychology.
The objectives that have been pursued to this day have been given to know the characteristics of educational leadership and the difference between authority and power in the classroom and develop attendees the skills, abilities and skills needed to work with students effectively and develop their skills of educational leadership.
Other aspects that have worked with have been positive psychology and emotional intelligence related to education.
We have also worked effective techniques for troubleshooting, to give students the tools necessary to increase their motivation in school, learn the principles of persuasion and use an assertive style in counterpoint to the passive and aggressive styles.
"Finally, the day offered participants the knowledge needed to prevent and solve problems if the relationship between faculty colleagues," said the Councillor for Education, Nicholas del Toro.
