The 2014 edition of Nature Tourism Routes as novelty includes a night march (14/01/2014)

More than 1,500 people have participated in two tours in previous editions

"Giving to know all our natural heritage, something we can boast in our town" is the goal, as stated by the Councillor for Tourism Cehegín Francisco in April, the third edition of Routes Nature Tourism, presented this morning by the mayor and will begin on Saturday, January 25th with a distance of seven kilometers from the 'bathtub of the Blues', running parallel to the river and Argos in the presence of Peña Rubia.

"These routes have been prepared with the usual philosophy of this program so they can be enjoyed by the whole family and people of all ages, because it is a route low and moderate difficulty," said Francisco Abril, who It is reported that the Group Cima each designed and planned routes.

In total we conducted twelve tracks, one for each month of the year to December.

The third edition features several new features.

One is the night route that will take place on August 23 where you can learn about the owls and their sounds and will conclude with a session on astronomy and observing the Perseids.

Another novelty is that you can download routes from www.turismocehegin.es to see their characteristics, route, profile, slope, topography, etc..

In the two previous editions of these routes have been, according to Francisco in April, more than 1,500 people who participated in them, "so they have emerged as attractive and many people who have participated in them and recommend them ".

The mayor of Tourism has highlighted the fact that many of these participants are British residents of the Region of Murcia who are interested in this type of activity.

For this reason, the routes are guided by bilingual environmental educators.
