The waiting list at the day center disappears thanks to five new positions granted by the regional government (05/04/2013)

The CEO Institute on Aging Murciano Social Action (IMAS), Enrique Perez, this morning visited the day center 'Virgin of Wonders' of Cehegín to test it and confirm the five new seats awarded to the center by the regional government through the Ministry of Social Policy.

During his visit he accompanied the local mayor, José Soria, deputy regional, Gregorio Morales, and the Councillor for Social Services, María José de Maya.

Enrique Perez said that "I like to know how this type of service in each municipality" and explained that "the regional government is supporting Cehegín as proof that we have expanded the day center with five new positions."

The CEO has stated that "This service is very important because our elders receive full attention and they do not lose contact with their families, returning the evening."

Perez has also provided statistical data on the implementation of Law Unit in Cehegín.

"In the town there are about 415 people who are receiving some kind of benefit, either as a service or in the form of financial aid, linked to the Law Unit.
