The Councillor for Sports, Antonio Marín, has reported that the next day will be held March 28 in Cehegín the VI National Football Tournament 8 'Cehegín City'.
"This tournament, as in the last edition, re-uniting two categories, Benjamin and Alevín thus both will be played simultaneously in two football fields Almarjal Sports Complex 'Javier Miñano Spin' of our town" , Marin explained.
This edition participate the following clubs: Benjamin category involved in the Municipal Sports School Cehegín, Cehegín CF, CD Bullas, Mulenen CF, EF AD Round Pliego and South of Murcia.
In junior category will be eight teams participating: Cehegín Municipal Sports School A and B, Cehegín CF, EMF Caravaca de la Cruz, CF Mulenen A and B, Lacroos Alicante CF and Villarreal CF
The tournament will start at 10.00 hours and without interruption is expected to end in mid-afternoon with the presentation of trophies to the champions.
"This tournament is becoming a classic in the Northwest Region, at this time to coincide with Easter, making a bet every year with basic sport, in this case with football," stressed the mayor of Sports.
The tournament is organized by the Department of Sports in collaboration with the CF Cehegín.
