On Passion Sunday, March 17, when only miss a week for the arrival of Palm Sunday, the streets of Cehegín again ring at Easter with the celebration of the XIV National Meeting of Bands Drums and Bugles Cehegín City, organized by the Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre in collaboration with the City Council through the council of Celebration.

Celebrations Councilman Ruben Sanchez, and the president of the band of the Holy Sepulchre, Diego Fernandez, presented the concentration, which reached its fourteenth edition overcoming economic difficulties and with the participation of three bands from the provinces of Jaén, Almeria and Albacete, another of Jumilla and the two hosts of the town.

As explained by Diego Fernandez, musical formations Cehegín this year will visit the Virgin of the Assumption of Huércal-Overa (Almería), Christ of the Humility of Baeza (Jaén), Christ of the Mercy of Jumilla (Murcia) and Our Lady of Pain de Hellin (Albacete), accompanied by two bands of Cehegín Holy Sepulcher, the adult and child.

Fernandez explained that the program maintains acts in recent years, making the bands a parade in the morning you will depart at 11:00 hours Alpargatero Square, the place from which each band will head to a new neighborhood of Cehegín to return back to Alpargatero where all bands will meet at noon to play several pieces.

In the afternoon will be held at 18.00 the concert, in which each musical training will play several marches passion.

The head of the concentration has asked that day cehegineros receiving the bands with the hospitality and participate in the events.

Meanwhile, the council of Celebration said that "on March 17 you can enjoy a holiday in which taste the Easter".

Ruben Sanchez wanted to thank the band Brotherhood of the Holy Sepulchre and "more than a year, despite the difficulties, have organized this concentration and not being eroded in quality", ensuring that the City Council continue to support the holding of this event .
