The IES Argos Vega gets the 2nd prize in the national educational innovation proposed by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, through the National Institute of Educational Technology and Teacher Education (Intef), as reported by the Town Education, Nicolás del Toro.
More than 250 projects have been submitted to this contest and in the form of schools have only given the award for 'Lipdub' IES Vega of Argos, leaving "deserts" the rest.
"This project was carried out by more than 500 people and took place in the month of June 2012. A 'lipdub', literally meaning "lip dub" is a music video of a few minutes, in this case more than eight, conducted by a group of people, that synchronize the 'playback', gestures and movements with familiar music, cheerful and rhythm.
The filming was done to the tune of 'Skip', Tequila and 'Give Life', Huecco.
According to the PE teacher and center coordinator, Juan Miguel Fernandez, the atmosphere generated in the Argos Vega IES during recording was "moving."
"The center overflowed color, joy, music, good atmosphere and enthusiasm to share this moment. This initiative is an educational project where interdisciplinarity and collaboration among many sectors of the educational community and values ​​education and living are some of aspects that are developed and enhanced, "he adds.
Many ask students to repeat.
"There is optimism and enthusiasm when students have prior motivation for an educational and fun at the same time. Therefore, if not this one, another challenge awaits Vega educational community of Argos in the near future," concludes Professor Fernandez .
