Cehegín City Council, through the Department of Social Services, directed by María José de Maya, has awarded two Cehegín housing families in distress.
In Maya, after signing the contract, has delivered the keys of the two houses of the Institute of Housing (IVIS), located in the streets Portillo and Gabriel García Márquez.
According to the councilman, "before handing both houses, we performed an analysis of the economic situation of families who had applied for social housing in the past two years, creating new lists."
The mayor added that "it is making a great effort to meet the housing needs of these family groups, who do not have sufficient resources to access a normal rent, given their precarious economic situation."
