Director Qualification Center Tourism, Monica Meroño, Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, and the councilman of Tourism Francisco in April, presented an innovative tourist audio guide through the mobile phone, which have been installed at 61 points Old Town in the locality.
This new tourist information system, which is patent pending, being single can be used in two ways: by entering your audioguia.turismocehegin.es mobile web, where you can hear the information in Spanish or English, as well to watch videos, or, by dialing 968 079 190 (no extra cost) and hearing the hearing.
This application "has been developed by cehegineros", as explained by the mayor, who thanked the work done by the project leader, Asun Guillamón, and to investigate the data and gather information about the auditions, Thomas Noguerol.
The audiguías tourism, already in operation, visitors will save having to go through the Tourist Office for information on areas, buildings or roads, because in their own mobile phones, will have all that information.
In addition, the Council has published brochures explaining the use of the audio guide, the recommended routes and points of interest where this system is already installed.
CST Director said that "for tourism, Cehegín is a success. We must applaud this initiative, because it is very important."
For his part, Mayor Soria has clarified about this new tourist information system that "this experiment is unique in the world. This project will provide much to talk about. Cehegín is a landmark resort in the Murcia region."
