'Youth' presents a youth training program, with six interesting courses (04/11/2011)

The Councillor for Youth, Ruben Sanchez, presented the youth training program 'Fit' I ', consisting of a series of courses and workshops to be held during the weekend, the next six months.

On 12, 18 and November 19 will take place on the course 'How to survive in the University', which includes a kitchen unit, to learn to prepare dishes little elaboration, cheap and healthy, another protocol module for young people and The latter, on household tasks, aimed at young people between 17 to 30 years.

The second course is on 'Animation and street theater', to be held on 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and December 17, that will address presentation games, scavenger hunts, games, city, street and street theater .

This workshop was created with the aim that students participate in parades organized by the City, such as the Three Kings or Carnival parades, among others.

The 'felt crafts workshop' will be the third of the programming, and will be held every Saturday of the month of January.

This is a good opportunity to learn how to make brooches, bracelets, necklaces, etc., with felt cloth and leather.

During the months of January and February, the course will also provide makeup 'Carnival Fantasy' for young people between 16 and 30.

It can learn everything about makeup products, to make original drawings for the carnival.

The course of 'Leisure activities for people with mental disabilities' will be on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings in March.

In it will show an overview about the world of intellectual disability, so that students have basic tools that allow them to develop projects with disabled people.

The last of the courses will be held in April, and will focus on 'Sign Language'.

This course enables students to in-depth knowledge of sign language and acquire the skills of understanding and communication with deaf people.

According to the councilman, "young people must be formed in a situation like the present, to complete our curriculum and make it increasingly attractive. In a labor market increasingly competitive we need to seize every opportunity for training that we provide."

All courses and workshops are free, except for the makeup course "Carnival Fantasy", which will cost 20 euros, due to the high cost of materials used.

Registration can be done from Friday at the Youth Space.
