The Department of Tourism of the City, directed by Francisco in April, has organized visits to two wineries cehegineras such as Bodegas Begastri (SINEDI Organic and Canada de Canara) and Bodegas Carreño (Marmallejo and Azeniche) in order to show the process wines from this area, belonging to the DO Bullas.
In the process of harvesting and selection of grapes, they can learn about the characteristics of the vineyards, grapes and processing procedures.
In addition there will be a tasting of wines that are produced, accompanied by sausages in the area.
Thus, on Saturday October 22 will visit the vineyards of Bodegas Begastri, in the village of Canada de Canara, and on Saturday 29th of that month, there will be a Wine Tour Carreño, which displays its vineyards and wineries.
According to Francisco in April, "with this activity aims to present a rich Cehegín land of wine and wineries in the area are made of high quality wines that are being recognized nationally and internationally."
Those interested can register and in the tourist office (50 seats maximum, to be given in order of registration), at a price of 3 euros per person.
The bus departures will be at 10 am, from the Plaza del Alpargatero.
