The "Medioambientados" competition, organized by the Department of the Environment, directed by María José Martínez and whose main objective is to instill a series of habits and respectful behavior and to make known our natural environment .
It has the collaboration of the companies Hidrogea and Ecoembes and is taught by the Association Adinor.
This one, celebrated for the third consecutive year and is directed to the students of Sixth of Primary of the municipality, consists of these first talks that already are being imparted;
A second to be held at the end of this month of March, as well as a final test between the Centers that compete which is scheduled to be held on April 6.
Through these three phases the participants will learn various topics, such as biodiversity and its importance in the environment, protected areas of the Region of Murcia and the municipality, sustainable use of water, waste management and different sources Of energy, among others.
We recall that Cehegín City Council was awarded last year with the Sustainable Development Prize, specifically for "Environmental education initiatives in the municipal area", awarded by the Regional Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment Of Murcia.
