On the occasion of commemorating the World Environment Day, to be held on June 5, the Department of Environment of the City of Cehegín, whose owner is Maria Jose Martinez Verdugo, has been organizing various activities related to awareness of our Midst Natural.
On this day, the Plaza del Alpargatero has hosted the so-called "Flashmob", aimed at students of 5th course of schools in the locality, a creative activity in which the students have tested their ability to body language and performing environmental problem communicating skills, as well as a workshop on Environment, taught by the Adinor Association, which have been directed to students in 3rd.
Both have had the collaboration of Ecoembes and workshops also Ecovidrio.
Councilmember thanked all individuals and schools that have participated in the various activities scheduled to mark World Environment Day.
The mayor has especially expressed gratitude to Ecoembes, Ecovidrio and Hidrogea.
The latter is the concessionaire of the service of drinking water, which has sponsored the 'Medioambientados' contest, which was held on March 11 with the participation of several schools.
