Cehegín Mayor Jose Soria, and Council Member for the Environment, María Dolores Carrasco, presented the activities to be carried out in the town to celebrate the World Environment Day, on 5 June.
The mayor has announced that "the activities already started with several talks given to students in schools, in addition to the launch of I School Poster Competition on the Environment, whose awards will be presented next Monday, May 31 in Plenary Hall of the City Council.
In addition to the development of these posters, which will be exhibited during the entire month of June in the House of Culture Cehegín, programming of this day includes a lecture addressed to the municipal staff and AQUAGEST company, to hidroeficiencia methods they know, on June 1 at the Cultural Hall of CajaMurcia.
This will be followed the play "Not a drop of water ', on June 2, at 18 pm in the House of Culture, aimed at all audiences, and lots of workshops, aimed at children Primary schools.
A stand on energy saving and recycling, installed in the Plaza del Alpargatero, day 4, put the finishing touch to these activities.
Carrasco wanted to thank the collaboration of entities such as Aquagest, CESPA, EPA and ECOVIDRIO, "to be able to carry out this interesting program."
